The Green Bay man who reportedly stabbed another man 175 times will stand trial.
Andres Garcia-Saenz has been charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and will have his trial start on January 24st despite multiple attempts to come to a plea agreement.
The criminal complaint states that police found the body of Douglas Campbell in a home on Trager Street on March 17th, 2020, noting that the home appeared to have been robbed and ransacked.
Officers eventually were lead to the home of Garcia-Saenz, who was found to be in possession of Campbellās clothing, ID, credit cards, and other items.
While Garcia-Saenz continuously denied being involved in the murder, his DNA was found on the handle of a bloody hammer found at the scene.
