A New Holstein woman is recovering in a Sheboygan hospital following a rollover crash the weekend.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, a call came in reporting the crash in the eastbound lanes of Highway 23 in the Town of Sheboygan Falls at around 3:15 PM on Saturday (September 18th).
Sheriff’s Deputies responded, and learned that equipment failure caused the vehicle to roll, and come to rest on its roof in the westbound lanes of traffic.
The 34-year-old New Holstein woman who was driving the vehicle was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital via Orange Cross Ambulance having suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway 23 was closed down for about an hour as crews cleaned up the debris, and removed the vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Department was assisted on the scene by the State Patrol, the DNR, Fire Departments from Sheboygan Falls and Johnsonville, as well as Sheboygan Falls First Responders.
