The Two Rivers City Council is scheduled to gather this evening in the Council Chambers.
At their 6:00 PM meeting, the Council will start by allowing the public time to voice their input before getting an update on the negotiations between the Two Rivers, Manitowoc, and the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau.
Then City Manager Greg Buckley will give an update on the reconstruction projects on 24th, 25th, and Madison Streets, and the Central Park West 365 project.
They will also look over an agreement with the state to provide 90% of the funding for the updating of traffic and pedestrian signs at the 16th, 17th, and 18th Street’s intersections with Washington Streets before electing a new council Vice President and consider some options for the filling of a Council vacancy.
The meeting will end with a closed session, where the Council will discuss some possible City assistance for some unspecified economic development projects, the purchase of the former Hamilton Property, and the possible sale of the former Paragon property.
