One person is dead after a fiery car crash in Appleton.
Officers were dispatched to the scene of the crash, which was at the intersection of Oneida and Calumet Streets, at around 11:00 Friday evening (September 17th).
The first officers on the scene found that one of the vehicles was already on fire, and the second was badly damaged.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a local hospital, but police did not say which individual was in which vehicle.
The names of the drivers, who were the lone occupants of their respective vehicles, have not been released, and the State Patrol is assisting in the investigation.
More details are expected to be released today.
