
An Appleton man is now facing charges after he reportedly damaged a city bus.
Officers were sent to investigate the reports of damage and found that the driver’s side window of a car was damaged while it was driving along East South River and South Jefferson Streets.
The bus was also hit by an at the time unknown projectile, but the police were able to locate the location of the shooter.
They found a 54-year-old man with an airsoft-style rifle, which shoots BB’s, and a slingshot.
The man was arrested on five counts each of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Criminal Damage to Property.
It is estimated that the incident caused roughly $9,500 in damage.
