Authorities in Minnesota say a 39-year-old southern Wisconsin man died in a fall from some rocks in Interstate State Park last weekend.
The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as Nathan Darval of Hanover, a small community west of Janesville. Darval was apparently off the trail in a rocky portion of the park in Taylors Falls when he fell to his death Saturday night. Deputies say he was taken to a hospital in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, but doctors weren’t able to save his life.
The apparent accident is still under investigation.
