In an attempt to fill their shelves with much needed blood reserves, Holy Family Memorial has announced that they will be hosting a blood drive tomorrow (September 17th).
The drive will be held in the Conference Rooms at their Western Avenue location from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
Those who wish to participate in the drive must be 16 or older, with minors requiring parental consent.
Donors who are not feeling well or have tested positive for COVID-19 should not schedule an appointment to donate blood until they are symptom-free for 14 days and feeling well.
Donors will have their temperature checked at the door and are required to wear a mask.
In a news release, the local medical facility said that “Every three seconds, someone needs a blood donation. Your donation ensures that we have enough blood to meet the demand in our communities.”
