The Manitowoc man accused of killing his two children in their Kaukauna home will be undergoing a competency evaluation.
The judge ordered the evaluation after the attorney for 37-year-old Matthew Beyer filed a motion requesting it.
Beyer is scheduled to have his trial start on November 29th, but the results of this evaluation could delay that.
Beyer is facing two charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide in the deaths of 3-year-old Danielle, and 5-year-old William Beyer in February of last year, along with charges of Taking Hostages, and Attempting to Escape a Criminal Arrest, each as a Party to the Crime.
A review hearing is scheduled for the morning of October 18th.
