As they continue to try and keep motorists safe on State Highways, the Wisconsin State Patrol has announced that they will be conducting aerial surveillance in several counties this week.
Sheboygan County is among the five Counties that will be surveilled using drones, as troopers plan to monitor traffic on I-43 Thursday through Saturday.
The drone operator will relay any traffic violations to the ground units who will respond as needed.
The State Patrol said that the aerial mission is done mainly to protect the public, not to pull over more people, which is why they announce them in advance.
