The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 20-year-old Madison man who was shot to death on Labor Day.
An autopsy shows Nicholas Cooke died from the wounds he suffered Monday just before 7:00 p-m.
Madison police officers were called to the scene by reports of a shooting.
Cooke was taken to a local hospital where he died later.
The medical examiner’s office says it is still conducting more tests as part of its investigation.
