There is a 5k run and walk event scheduled for this weekend, which aims to help several local groups.
The Scott Bohman Memorial Trek the Creek 5K run and family walk will take place on Saturday (September 11th) at Pla-Mor Park in Francis Creek.
The gun will sound to start the race at 9:00 am, with prizes going to the top five finishers.
There will also be refreshments available, games for the kids, a bucket raffle, and other fun activities.
Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Pink Heals, the Mishicot Snack Program, and Francis Creek Lions.
