One of the most visually appealing events every summer in Tow Rivers is returning this weekend.
Kites Over Lake Michigan is scheduled for tomorrow (September 4th) at Two Rivers High School.
As the name implies, there will be displays of giant show kites, precision stunt teams performing amazing aerial ballet with their kites, and spectacular and colorful ground displays.
Traditionally, the kites event is held along the scenic shore of Neshotah Beach overlooking Lake Michigan, however, due to high water levels and reduced beach space, festivities are being held at Two Rivers High School.
The kites will fly starting at 11:00 AM, as long as the wind cooperates.
There will be a free kite-making program for children on Sunday as well starting at 9:00 AM.
