A plea deal fell through, so now the man accused of killing Codie Schultz in Green Bay will now go on trial in March.
Waylon Wayman has been charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide for the murder that occurred on April 1st, 2020.
The killing occurred in the area of Clinton Street and 12th Avenue, where officers found Schultz. He was shot once behind the left ear at close range.
The confrontation reportedly happened because Wayman was convinced that Schultz had stolen $900 and a half an ounce of Meth from him.
Wayman’s five-day murder trial will begin on March 14th, and a second suspect, Clarence Graveen will enter his plea on November 8th.
