A story shared by Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry reveals the pressure on the team and its coach peaked after Game 2 of the second-round N-B-A series against the Brooklyn Nets.
After the Nets blasted Milwaukee 125-86 Lasry says he entered the locker room, looked at coach Mike Budenholzer, and asked what happened in the one-sided defeat.
Coach Bud told him, “We’re gonna break down film, we’re gonna go back, and we’re gonna figure it all out.”
The final results speak for themselves.
Budenholzer and his staff did figure it out and bring the franchise its first N-B-A title in 50 years.
