After being rained out on August 24th, a new date and location have been selected for the Remember the Fallen remembrance.
Faith Church in Manitowoc has opened its doors to the volunteers who will be reading all 2,456 names of servicemen and women who died while serving in America’s longest war.
The reading and live stream on the Seehafer News and Coolest Coast Facebook pages will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday (September 6th).
The list of volunteers includes several local veterans, as well as local, state, and federal dignitaries from both sides of the political aisle.
If you wish to sign up, you can still do so by going to SeehaferNews.com, clicking the “more” tab, then on “news tip”. Enter your name, email address, and telephone number, and in the news tip section write “Remember the Fallen Event Volunteer” and indicate a time frame you are available to participate.
Submissions must be in by 5:00 PM on Friday (September 3rd).
