A man accused of shooting into the backseat of another car in Milton says he was frustrated.
25-year-old Nathan A. Baumeister is charged with recklessly endangering safety, intentionally pointing a firearm at a person, operating a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct while armed.
Baumeister says he didn’t intend to harm anyone.
He had been called by a family member when their car broke down.
Baumeister was pushing it when the driver slammed on the brakes.
He got mad, walked up to the driver’s side of the disabled car, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the driver, then fired a shot into the backseat.
No one was injured.
He was taken to the Rock County Jail.
