Ascend Services is preparing to host its 5th Annual Run, Walk, and Roll Fundraiser in early October.
Numerous area businesses have stepped up to sponsor the event, which is scheduled to take place at Lincoln Park Cabin #1 at 8:00 AM on October 9th.
There are three ways people can participate in the fundraiser. The first is obviously registering and showing up for the in-person run, but you can also perform your run virtually, or sign up for the Zero K run.
If you choose to participate virtually, run on a treadmill, hike a trail or walk around your own neighborhood on your time, your own way.
This is one of Ascend’s major fundraisers for the year and every dollar raised goes back into programs for people with exceptional abilities.
