The American Reds Cross is still in desperate need of blood and is trying to curb that trend with a series of blood drives all over Eastern Wisconsin.
Among the many drives in our area, there is one scheduled for next Wednesday (September 8th) at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church located at 435 Wisconsin Avenue in Denmark. That drive will run from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
A little closer to home, a drive will be held on September 20th at Manitowoc’ Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 11303 Wehausen Road from 1:30 to 6:30 PM.
The Red Cross is concerned that the rise of COVID cases and Hurricane Ida may further challenge their ability to collect blood and meet hospital demand.
