The numbers don’t count, but they likely solidify Malik Taylor’s hold on a roster spot with the Packers.
Taylor led all N-F-L receivers in yards during the just-completed three-game preseason. He caught 14 balls for 185 yards.
Pro Football Focus reports Taylor caught 87.5% of his targets, averaged two-and-a-half yards per route run, made five contested catches, and created a league-high 11 first downs on his receptions.
Final cuts will be made by this afternoon as the Packers and other N-F-L teams reduce their rosters to 53.
