Rookie Aaron Ashby picked up his first major league win as the Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins 6-2, ending a three-game losing streak.
A three-run homer by Rowdy Tellez was the big blast for Milwaukee. Luis Urias also homered and Kolten Wong drove in a pair with a double.
The win boosted Milwaukee’s edge over Cincinnati to eight-and-a-half games.
Ashby gave up only three hits in five innings, good for two runs.
The Brewers improved their major league-best road record to 43-and-23.
