The strength coach for the Wisconsin Badgers football program is getting some praise for his work preparing players for the season.
They’re noticing that there aren’t nearly as many injuries as normal.
It could be good luck – or, it could be the thoughtful way Shaun Snee has his players working out. Snee is not totally new.
He was second-in-command inside the weight room until coach Ross Kolodziej was moved to coaching the defensive line.
Several Badgers have noted that they are stronger and faster than ever and they’re giving a lot of credit to Snee’s individualized programs for each of them.
Snee says every player has hit personal bests in at least one of the program’s core lifts – bench press, squat or clean.
