When a reckless driving suspect refused to drop his weapon Thursday evening, two Milwaukee police officers shot him to death.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
Police say officers tried to conduct a traffic stop shortly before 7:00 p-m.
The man wanted for reckless driving wouldn’t pull over.
That started a police pursuit that finally ended when the fleeing driver wrecked his vehicle.
He took off on foot while holding a gun.
When he refused to drop it, the officers opened fire.
The man died later at a hospital.
The Waukesha Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting.
