Grant Griesbach of Pewaukee was able to outlast Appleton’s Sawyer Effertz to score a hard-fought win in the Super Late Models at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna.
He also posted the fastest time on the track, registering a 19.257 second lap. In the Late Model Feature race, Nate Van Wychen of Appleton earned the win, while Wayne Posselt of Greenville won the ¼ mile Late Model Feature.
The Super Stock Feature was won by Menasha resident George Schwalbach, while Isaac Therrien of Seymour captured the checkered flag in the Sizzlin 4 Feature.
The Sport Truck Feature was won by Jason Plutz of Appleton, and Ethan Beattie earned a win in the Figure 8 race.
The season finale for ‘Thursday Night Thunder’ at WIR will be Thursday, September 2nd, and champions will be crowned in the respective divisions.
