The Milwaukee Bucks have signed N-B-A Championship-winning “Coach Bud” to a three-year extension.
E-S-P-N is reporting the deal although a formal announcement hasn’t been made.
Mike Budenholzer would have been entering his final season under contract without the agreement – and you just don’t treat the guy who brought Milwaukee its first title in 50 years that way.
Budenholzer has taken most of the criticism while the Bucks fell short of the title over the last three years.
It even appeared that his job might be at risk if the Bucks didn’t win it all. That’s no longer a factor.
It helps that superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is a big supporter of “Coach Bud.”
