The surging Cincinnati Reds have been one of the hottest teams in baseball for almost two months.
They just passed San Diego for the final National League Wild Card position and they make a visit to American Family Field for a game against the Brewers tonight (August 24th).
When Tyler Stephenson’s walk-off single sealed a July 1st win over the Padres Cincinnati’s record was 40-and-40. Since then, the Reds have won 30-of-47 games and are 7.5 games behind Milwaukee.
Tyler Mahle has emerged as an ace for the Reds and the right-hander will start the game. The Brewers will send Corbin Burnes to the mound, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10 on 107.9 FM WOMT.
