A 57-year-old man has been charged with OWI after he reportedly ran his boat aground over the weekend.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the boat was beached near Deland Park in Sheboygan Sunday afternoon, with Deputies and the Coast Guard responding at around 5:45 PM.
It does not appear that anyone was injured in the crash, but the man operating the vessel was charged with OWI.
The rules for operating a boat are the same for driving a car, as you are not allowed to have a Blood Alcohol level above .08.
