
Two people were arrested on drug charges in Manitowoc over the weekend after they were found passed out in a vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Wollmer Street just before 10:00 PM on Sunday (August 22nd) to conduct a welfare check on two people asleep in a vehicle.
Officers made contact with the 25-year-old male driver, and 37-year-old female passenger, and noted that both had trouble staying awake.
They were found in possession of several drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a knife, while the woman was also reportedly in possession of her deceased brother’s ashes.
Both were charged with Possession of Heroin, Fentanyl, an Other Schedule Drug, and Drug Paraphernalia, while the man with Possession of THC, and Carrying a Concealed Knife.
