Representative Shae Sortwell of Two Rivers says that Senator Andre Jacque is in “serious need of your prayers” as he battles COVID-19.
The De Pere Senator tested positive for the virus early last week, and has spent much of the last week in a hospital being treated for what Sortwell called “COVID induced pneumonia.”
When Jacque initially reported his contraction of the coronavirus, he said he was largely asymptomatic, but appears to have changed.
Sortwell called for the community’s prayers in a Facebook post on Friday, and we have not received word of his condition today.
