A 31-year-old Milwaukee man has been killed and a Greenfield police officer critically wounded in a shootout early Sunday morning.
The incident unfolded at about 1:30 a-m when Tyran Lamb was pulled over for a traffic stop.
Lamb reportedly opened fire first.
The 36-year-old Greenfield officer was hit in the chest, hand, and thigh.
His name hasn’t been released.
He is listed in critical but stable condition.
Two Greenfield police officers shot Lamb.
Milwaukee police will investigate the deadly use of force by police.
