A Manitowoc man is facing charges after reportedly going to his former place of employment and pointing a weapon at someone.
Officers were sent to International Paper, located at 2000 South 18th Street at 4:15 PM, on Friday to investigate, but by the time police arrived, the suspect had fled.
A female worker told authorities that she had filed a restraining order against the 24-year-old male suspect earlier in the day, and when she was dropped off, noted the man driving toward her.
She also noted that the man was pointing a handgun at the roof of his car as he approached, and multiple other witnesses corroborated her story.
Another individual told authorities that she had gone with the suspect to get the weapon earlier in the day.
The suspect was later located and arrested on charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Disorderly Conduct, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
