After several hours of negotiations, a man surrendered to Green Bay Police and SWAT Sunday evening following a call about a domestic disturbance.
Officers were initially dispatched to the apartment complex in the 1400 block of South Oakland Avenue at around 2:00 PM to investigate the report. The 27-year-old man inside threatened a significant other inside their apartment and refused to leave.
There were three other family members inside as well, with all other units being evacuated as a precautionary measure.
SWAT was called in as well, and the man eventually surrendered without incident at 8:30 PM.
The man will be facing charges, but the exact charges have not yet been released, nor has the suspect’s name.
