Several Community Events Scheduled for This Weekend in Manitowoc County

There is no excuse for being bored this weekend, as there several exciting events happening in Manitowoc County.

Starting with today (August 20^th), the Lakeshore Balloon Glow will kick off at 5:00 PM in Downtown Manitowoc. There will be a magic show, a Tae Kwon Do exhibition, a waterski show, and of course, the lit-up hot air balloons and a fireworks show.

Tonight also marks the start of Metro Jam in Washington Park in Manitowoc. There are two bands scheduled to take to the stage tonight starting at 5:00 PM.

There will also be a shuttle running back and forth between the Balloon Glow and Metro Jam, so visitors can attend both without needing to drive.

Metro Jam will continue on Saturday, starting at Noon, with headliner Sun Volt taking the stage at 8:30 PM.

Also on Saturday is the Kiel Kraftacular. That will start at 10:00 AM in the Kiel City Park and will feature over 130 artesian booths, and a DJ playing music.
