Four former Wisconsin Badgers football players were among more than 100 aspiring NFL pros who were handed their pink slips earlier this week.
Every NFL team had to cut its roster to 85 players on Tuesday.
Those teams will have to cut their way down to 53 by Week 1 on the 2021 NFL regular season.
The Badgers who were sent home include offensive lineman Jon Dietzen by the Packers, tight end Troy Fumagalli of the Patriots, offensive lineman Tyler Marz of the Dolphins, and cornerback Nick Nelson of the Texans.
