
SafeWise.com has ranked the safest metropolitan cities in the US, and Green Bay has made the top ten.
Green Bay was ranked #8, with a violent crime rate of 2.3 incidents per 1,000 residents and a property crime rate of 10.9, according to the latest data from the FBI.
Also, Green Bay had the fewest burglaries (423) and motor vehicle thefts (188) reported of any metro in the country.
Another interesting statistic regarding the home of the Packers, they are tied for the fewest reported murders among the top 10 safest metros with 5.
Outranking Green Bay are cities such as Rockingham County-Strafford County, New Hampshire, which earned the top spot, followed by Provo-Orem, Utah, and Cambridge-Newton-Framingham, Massachusetts.
