The man deemed responsible for the 2020 overdose death of a man in Fond du Lac has been sentenced.
27-year-old David Bresser was sentenced to a total of eleven years in prison and seven years of extended supervision for supplying Robert Thorp with the methamphetamine that ultimately killed him and an unrelated drug delivery charge.
Thorp’s body was found in the Fond du Lac River in April of last year after he died of what was termed “methamphetamine toxicity”.
Bresser admitted to selling him the drugs but claimed it was a small amount.
