
Two players with the Sheboygan County SaberCats football team have earned end-of-year awards from the Mid-West United Football League.
Earning Defensive Player of the Year honors was Defensive Tackle, Robert Sallie, who wears #55 for the SaberCats.
The Special Teams Player of the Year was Kicker and Punter Wyatt Stenson.
Stenson and Sallie were also named 1st Team All-League, along with:
- WR Tarrel Jackson
- TE Ashon Anderson
- Offensive Tackle Austin Watts
- DB and Punt Returner Steve Strong
- OLB CJ Dimoff
- DE Andre McDonald
- MLB Zach Sallie
Earning 2nd Team All-League honors were:
- QB Tyler Manning
- FB Eric Sweetman
- O-Lineman David Kinjerski
- O-Lineman Sama’J Stokes
- DB Dashawn Webber
- OLB Pablo Moore
- MLB Max McCoy
- DT James Marcell
- Kick Returner Tarrel Jackson
Six players also earned Honorable Mention status, including:
- WR Nathan Dyken
- O-Lineman Eugene Winkel
- O-Lineman Corey CandenBush
- DE Rick Seidmann
- DB Anthony Veriha
- MLB Aus Greening
The top-seeded SaberCats will be taking on the #2 seeded Milwaukee County Chargers in the first-ever MWFL Championship game this Saturday at Hart Park in Wauwatosa. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
