The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office reports an 11-year-old boy suffered serious injuries Sunday when he fell onto a boat propeller.
The accident happened just after noon at the Columbia Park boat landing on Lake Winnebago.
The boy’s name hasn’t been released.
Investigators say he was trying to climb into the boat after tubing.
He fell off the ladder onto the propeller.
A 30-year-old New Holstein man and four children were on the boat at the time.
The victim is being treated at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
