Six people were left without a home after a fire on the West Side of Green Bay.
Fire crews were called to the home in the 900 block of Greenwood Avenue at around 4:00 PM on Sunday (August 15th), and when they got there, smoke and flames were seen coming from the front porch.
Crews took care of those flames, before going inside to find the blaze spreading up the walls and into the ceiling.
They were able to subdue the fire before it reached the second floor, but not before it caused an estimated $50,000 in damage.
There were no injuries reported, but two families were removed from the home.
The Fire Department is still looking into what started the blaze, as the families are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
