An Illinois man has been arrested following a road rage incident over the weekend in Fond du Lac County.
The Sheriff’s Department received a report from a semi-driver Saturday night, claiming an individual had just shot at his trailer while driving west on Highway 23.
The shooting occurred in the township of Rosendale, and the vehicle continued west toward Ripon on 23.
Ripon Police Officers were able to conduct a high-risk traffic stop and took the unnamed 56-year-old man into custody.
The man from Illinois admitted to becoming upset with the semi-driver and firing a pistol at the truck.
The man is facing multiple charges, including Recklessly Endangering Safety with Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
