Teams who had West Allis on their 2021 high school football schedule are scrambling to find new opponents as the season opener approaches a week from tonight (August 13).
The West Allis Bulldogs are not going to field a varsity team.
The school announced that decision Wednesday, saying it’s based on low participation numbers in the program.
West Allis will play a Greater Metro schedule at the jayvee-2 and freshman levels.
School officials say they will seek options for juniors and seniors to find a place to play this season.
West Allis had to cancel its last four games last season.
