Officials will We Energies say all of their customers should be back online by Saturday afternoon (August 14th).
Strong storms have moved out of the state. An estimated 225 thousand customers lost power.
The utility says a thousand workers – some from out of state – are working 16-hour shifts to restore service.
The company’s president has called this the largest restoration effort in the history of We Energies.
Some customers have been in the dark for at least five days.
