A new report says US Senator Ron Johnson was against the Trump tax cut bill, then switched sides when changes were made that benefited two of his biggest campaign donors.
The investigative journalism organization ProPublica reports the Wisconsin Republican donors saw $79 million in tax savings when the bill passed.
Democrats running for his seat say that shows the veteran politician is corrupt.
Johnson counters, saying his moves had nothing to do with any donor or any talks with them.
