
The Police Officer that was shot in Oconto Falls last week has been identified.
Officer Nicole Blaskowski responded to a home on August 6th due to a series of 911 hang-ups and was shot during this incident.
She was taken to a Green Bay hospital for treatment of her head injury but is now recovering at home with her husband and three children.
The shooter, 29-year-old Alisha Kocken was arrested on charges of First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Resisting an Officer Causing a Soft Tissue Injury to Officer, Battery to a Law Enforcement Officer, Aggravated Battery, and Disorderly Conduct, all with Use of a Dangerous Weapon, as well as Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, Disarming a Peace Officer, Intentionally Pointing a Firearm at Another, and Discharge of a Firearm Within 100 Yards of a Building.
The date of Kocken’s next court appearance has not been set according to online records.
