The Wisconsin Badgers were shut out when USA TODAY announced its preseason All-America team.
Even though players like Jake Ferguson, Jack Sanborn, Graham Mertz, Leo Chenal, and others have made some watch lists for prominent awards, none were singled out by the national publication.
There was one familiar name, though. Former Badger Aron Cruickshank was named the first-team kick returner.
He played two years in Madison before entering the transfer portal and switching to Rutgers.
Cruickshank didn’t miss a beat averaging nearly 27 yards a return and scoring two special teams touchdowns.
