The Milwaukee Brewers scored seven times in the first inning on the way to a 10-0 shutout win in Chicago.
Catcher Omar Narvaez was three-for-three with a homer and four runs batted in.
His batterymate, starter Corbin Burnes threw eight shutout innings, striking out 15 batters while winning for the seventh time.
He also tied an MLB record, striking out 10 batters in a row.
The loss drops the Cubs 17.5games out of first place as they were out-hit by the Brewers 16-to-4.
