There is some good news for bikers that use the Mariners Trail in Two Rivers.
A brand new bike repair station has been added, which City Manager Greg Buckley explains is right next to the water filtration plant in the city.
“Where you can do minor repairs, check the pressure in your tires, add air to the tires,” he explained. “I have already heard a lot of positive feedback. [It is a] very welcome addition along the trail.”
The repair station was donated by Nate and Theresa Kronforst as well as the Whitecap Insurance Agency.
Buckley went on to encourage people to utilize the trails.
“The gardens are at their peak,” he explained. “Bicycle it, walk it, it is just one of our great treasures here on the Lakeshore.”
On top of the famous Mariners Trail along Lake Michigan, there is the Rawley Point Trail, and the East & North Trails, which connect Two Rivers High School to the rest of the city.
