In an attempt to keep the thousands that are expected to be in attendance safe, the organizers of Summerfest have announced that in order to get in, you will need proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.
Summerfest CEO Don Smiley called the move the best course of action for them, as they consistently have over 700,000 people on the grounds over the 11-day music festival.
Summerfest organizers are being supported in their decision by the Milwaukee Health Department, who said the move was the right one to help keep everyone safe.
The first day of Summerfest is September 2nd, with artists like Luke Bryan, REO Speedwagon and T-Pain performing.
