It seems the Wisconsin Badgers football program has earned the reputation to be ranked high – even when coming off a mediocre season.
The Preseason USA TODAY Sports A-F-C-A Coaches Poll ranks Wisconsin 15th.
The Badgers are the only team from the Big Ten West to be ranked.
From the Big Ten East, Ohio State is ranked number four while Indiana and Iowa are back-to-back in 17th and 18th, and Penn State ranked 20th.
The Badgers open the 2021 season at Camp Randall Stadium next month against the Nittany Lions.
