The three major road construction projects taking place in Two Rivers are coming ever closer to being completed.
The 24th Street project, which runs from Forrest Avenue to Jefferson Street, now has all of the curb, gutter, and travel way lanes paved. The next step is for the aprons and sidewalks, which will be taken care of this week, with landscaping coming soon thereafter.
Meanwhile, a short distance away on 25th and Madison Streets between the West River and Forrest Avenue, the utilities are in and the street has been graded and graveled. Concrete paving is expected to be completed by the end of the week, and the gutter approaches, and cleanup will start next week.
Also on Madison Street, between 19th and 22nd Streets, crews are working on water main installation north of 20th Street. That same work will be conducted on the other blocks after the mains are tested and the temporary water service is relocated.
