Two people are facing charges after they were found passed out in the bathroom of a Manitowoc park.
Officers were dispatched to Halvorsen Park on Mero Street just before 6:30 AM on Friday (August 6th) on a report of a man who had locked himself in the bathroom.
When the officer arrived, they found two people in the bathroom, lying on the ground, barely responsive.
The man and woman claimed that they were not who their IDs said they were, and that the “real” versions of themselves had died, and that they had been given rat poison.
The woman was found to be in possession of prescription drugs that she did not have a prescription for, and both were taken into custody.
The woman was charged with Possession of a Non-Scheduled Drug, and six counts of Bail Jumping, three felonies, and three misdemeanors.
The man was charged with Damage to Property, as there was graffiti on the bathroom walls.
